When you discover something that nourishes your soul and brings joy, care enough about yourself to make room for it in your life.
What makes you lose track of time?
Make a "Nourish Jar" (see instructions below) and use it when you need help figuring out what you can do to nourish your soul.
For this task, you write different things that bring you happiness, things you enjoy or actions that inspire you on paper strips. Fold and put them in a glass jar (jelly size).
To embellish it, punch a hole in the lid of the jar, feed a thread up through the lid's hole and tie the outer end to keep from falling through. Cover the lid with craft paper or use your favorite one. Tie to the other end of the thread something cute. I made a white clay heart with a cookie cutter and painted it with acrylic paint to this intent.
Stick your hand in the "Nourish Jar" every time you feel you need to refuel yourself but have no idea where to start. Pledge to devote certain amount of time every day to doing at least one thing to nourish you.
Take a photo of something you made. Something you were so into what you were doing that time seemed to fly by.
I allow the wonder of life to nourish me.
